How to: highlight a sentiment on a card with Robin's Nest Dew Drops

Hello to all, it's Libeeti here, and today I'd like to show you how you can highlight the sentiment on your card with Robin's Nest Dew Drops.
I wanted the sentiment to draw all the attention, so I highlighted it with the dew drops.
At first, I stamped my sentiment on a white cardstock I pre-cut with a die cut.
Then I've put some glue with the zig glue pen, along the dotted line the die cut left on the cardstock.
I adhered the dew drops along the glue line, working my way in steps (as this glue dries very quickly).
This is how the highlighted sentiment looks after completing the frame work with the dew drops.
And this is how it looks on my card. Just like a lady who draws the attention with a beautiful neckless on her neck :).
I've used Easter Dew Drops

Obsidian Diamomds

Hi everyone!!

Here is Elisa from Italy and today I show you this new tag where I used the Dew Drops Obsidian Diamond.

Here are some more pictures with some details:

As you can see, I used crayons on Diamonds to make them "grunge": because diamonds are black, I decided to use the white crayon.

How To: Simple and Charming Floral Accents with Dew Drops

Hello and welcome to the blog.  Shelly with you today sharing my floral accents created with Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest.

These DIY embellishment are fun and easy to make - I created quite a few this week to save for future scrapbook pages, cards, tags and ATC's.

What I used:

What I did (for the dandelion):

  • Using clear, pearl and white Dew Drops in different sizes, fill white felt circle
  • Embellie Gellie has become my best friend for working with Dew Drops - it makes application so fast and easy!
  • Assemble Dandelion on card base
  • Add a few more Dew Drops of different sizes for the dandelion seeds being blown away
  • Hand write your sentiment "make a wish" along stem
  • Add a Heart Dew Drop

What I did (for Flower):

  • Line the outer edge of felt circle with glue
  • Apply Tear Drops around circle, touching each other
  • Apply another line of glue across bottom edge of Tear Drops
  • Apply another row of Tear Drops, repeat a 3rd time
  • Add a large Dew Drop to center

I love creating my own custom embellishments and Dew Drops can be used in so many different ways!

Thanks for stopping by the blog - have a creative week!

Love Of Spring Bohemian Inspired Canvas How To

Hello, welcome to the
Chattering Robin's blog.

Michelle here today, sharing an easy,
colorful Bohemian inspired canvas board
featuring Dew Drops from
The Robin's Nest.

The size of canvas board I chose was 4x4.
I used a variety of gelato's, stencils & texture paste
to create the colorful background.

I added mini bright colored flowers in the shape of a heart,
and randomly glued "shaved ice" in pink throughout the design, as well as adding it to the rope rosebud for the center of the lace dangle.

Following a similar random pattern, I did the same using a variety of sizes of Dew Drops from the Easter & Riverside Collections.

And placing the Dew Drops was made easy using
Embellie Gellie from ScraPerfect.

To finish, I added a single twisted roping
around the entire canvas.

And there you have it. A perfect way to add
some "spring" cheer to any space,
to chase the winter blues away.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Heart Love Card With Diamond Drops by Melinda

Hello Crafty friends!
I hope your week is going wonderful and you were able to enjoy a little “love” yesterday! Today I am sharing a card I created for my beloved for Valentine’s Day. Here’s what I designed.

Dew Drops Heart Card
heart card 1b
I started with a standard A2 sized card base. I used some black cardstock. I then
cut a mat of white cardstock and then a mat using
some patterned paper from the Black Currant DCWV Stack.

Next I went to work designing my pretty heart. I designed it with my dew drops in mind
and used my craft cutter to cut it out.I cut out the layers in white
cardstock for the scallop and the decorative top. Pink for the outer layer and then
black for the inner layer. I added some pretty diamond drops around the border
of the flourished die cut and then added a mix of pink, light pink dewdrops
as well as some pretty black diamond drops.

I then colored in the black layer with my Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to give it that shimmer.

I then used a stamp from the MayMayMadeIt Stamp Set: All In Love.
I used my black Aladine Pigment Ink to stamp the sentiment.
I love the clean crisp image it gave.

Here’s a closer look at how I used some of the pretty black diamond drops
as decorative accents on the top and bottom of my stamped sentiment.

I finished off the card by adding a strip of organza ribbon and a pretty little double bow.
I added another pink dew drop to the center of the card for just a little extra touch.

Please feel free to pin this image for some inspiration! Here is one last look at the card.
I think it turned out very nice. I think my hubby will
appreciate it even though it is a tad “girly”…lol!
