How To Add Pizazz To An Old Picture Frame

Hello there! Welcome to Chattering Robin's blog.

Michelle here today to share how I turned a very old picture frame, into a bling pizazzed frame, to hold a precious treasure of a photograph. This is an extremely easy project, especially if your frame base is a flat base.

For this project I selected a variety of color and shapes in the Dew Drop collections to add to my frame.

You can find the color selections via link below each product photo.

You will also need a permanent bonding mixed media glue, and a "pick up" tool is helpful in placing the Dew Drops in place. I used Embellie Gellie from ScraPerfect.

To begin, I cleaned the frame and glass with window cleaner, and sat the photo and glass to the side. I thoroughly dried the frame before applying the glue and the Dew Drops.

I used a very small amount of glue per each Dew Drop, beginning with the Tear Drop shape, alternating the Sea Glass colors in the blue & light aqua shades, point side in.

Once all Tear Drops were in place, I alternated mini blue Dew Drops from the Riverside Dew Drop collection, and the very, very light pink hue larger size from the Easter collection, at the inside of the frame, to complete the look.

That is it, simple and easy. Just look at the wow factor of the frame now.
