How to make a vintage wall hanging

Terri here to show you how to make a Vintage Wall Hanging using Robins Nest Products.

The items I will be using today are

Paper flowers
Paper doily
Chipboard base

I start by drawing around chipboard base onto the reverse of my chosen paper.

I then glued the paper in place and distressed the edges with some brown ink. I also added a ribbon to hang it.

Using a die from my collection I cut a frame which I layer along with a doily on to my project.

I then added the vintage lady which I also die cut and then added some paper flowers.

I used the glitter alphas to add a sentiment to the hanging, they match in well with the flowers and doily.

I love the vintage/shabby look,

This is my last post for the Robins Nest DT, thank you for all the lovely comments over the past 6 months, please come back and visit to see what everyone else has in-store for you.

Robin's shimmery gloves

Hi my crafty friends,
It's Angela here and today I'd like to show you something really fun made with the Robin's Nest products.
In my DT box, I received these two fun Micky Mouse's hands-gloves that I adore and really wanted to use, but I didn't know how, until last evening.
Infact, I had a joking pic made with Instagram app a few days ago, while my son was teaching me how to use it. My son is very techie!
Well, that was the right picture!

Ciao miei cari amici creativi,

Seriously, isn't it a cute photo?

Seriamente, non è carinissima la foto?

Here you can better see that the Micky Mouse hand is glittered on the white part.

Qui potete vedere meglio che la manina di Topolino è glitterata nella parte bianca.

Using both, the right and the left hand, I thought to frame the face, as if I where trying to look for the right pic framing.

Usando entrambe le manine, destra e sinistra, ho pensato di incorniciare il viso, come se stessi cercando la giusta inquadratura.

Hope you like the idea and I'd want to leave you with a beautiful quote that is hanged in my studio, which I look at everyday and I find very inspiring.
This is my last post for The Robin's Nest Design Team. I want to thanks the beautiful Robin's family for the opportunity given to me. I've had the chance to learn and grow a lot. Thank you Rachel, thank you Terri, thank you team designers.

Sisters Cute Little Poses On The First Day Of School

Tracy here today with a girly pink layout using all sorts of different patterned papers. These are my granddaughters on the oldest one's first day of school.

Robin's Nest Products Used

Smokey Chevron Cardstock (reverse side)
Rosy Diamond Cardstock (reverse side)
Bunny Stripe Cardstock (reverse side)

I started by layering some Rosy Diamond Cardstock (reverse side), Bunny Stripe Cardstock (reverse side) and Pink Glittered Leopard Cardstock on top of each other. I then added the photo on top.

For the background paper I took the Spring Flowers Glitter Cardstock and cut it and placed a piece on the top and bottom of the Smokey Chevron Cardstock (reverse side). I then fussy cut a section of the Pink Glitter Journal and tucked it under some of the layering behind the photo. I also used a Robin's Nest Clippie as a journaling block.

And added the Rosy Bike Chipboard to the other side of the photo along with another Robin's Nest Clippie.

This will be my last project for the Robin's Nest Design Team. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time on the team working with a wonderful bunch of talented ladies.

Thank you for stopping by!

OMG Little Leafy Friend on a card is just too cute

Hi.. Bev here today. So for this card today at the Robin's Nest I am using  a fabulous fun friend accent. Mix and match it to their amazing paper choices and I have a super cute card.

Supply List:
Robin's Nest Products
Other: tutti die cut, Creative Embellishment chipboard butterfly, cardstock

To make this card I pulled the papers that best suited the colouring of the super cute Little Leaf Friend accent which is the main focus of my card. Isn't it just too cute. There are others you would love for some of your projects too.. so be sure to check them out in the store.

Next I added the stripes to the card. making sure the black line still showed.

Trim it with some chipboard accent and the small word sentiments die cuts and it's done.
This may be a simple and easy card but it's amazing combo makes it perfect.

Thanks for joining me today... and hope you have a great day too.

How to create a simple pocket book gift card

Good morning Terri here, today I am going to show you how to create a simple pocket book gift card.

Sometimes we want to give a loved one something other than a greeting card, maybe we want to give them a ticket to a show or a gift card, maybe you are giving them some photos and need a way to wrap them, hopefully this tutorial will give you a new idea.

I will be using the following products from Robins Nest

I cut a piece of 6"x 12" card and scored it in half to create my outer card

Using my chosen paper for the insert I folded it in half and in half again, I then unfold and cut one of the folds to the centre.

Then fold the paper to form triangles so it looks like the picture above

I added sticky tape along the outer edge (show here in red) and then closed the triangular flap

Now we have an insert with 2 pockets, I glued this inside the outer card which I cut and folded previously

On the front of the card I added a paper doily and some embellishments from my Robins Nest stash

I also added some paper lace tape to the spine of the card

Inside can be filled with items of your choice

I hope you like this idea and give it a try yourself.

Thank you for stopping by today.
