How To Create A Delightful Easter Cone

Hello crafty friends.
Welcome to Chattering Robin's.
Michelle here this week
to share a fun project with you,
just in time for Easter,
a DELIGHTFUL Easter Cone
that can be filled with all kinds
of sweet treats.

From The Robin's Nest:
Bunny Stripe Cardstock
Spring Stripe Glitter Cardstock
Spring Flowers Glitter Cardstock
Pink Glitter Chipboard
Dew Drops
Diamond Dew Drops
Tear Drops

Additional Supplies:
Scraperfect Best Glue Ever

Personal Stash:
Satin Ribbon
Shabby Roses
Venice Dangle Lace
Satin Ruffle Trim
Plastic Egg
Purple Shredded Paper

For this project I chose the
Easter Stripe Cardstock as the base for my cone.
It features quite a whimsical print
with bunnies, eggs & more
all in beautiful shades of spring.
I used a template cut from
my cutting machine for the cone,
shaped it around a large glue bottle,
and glued it at the created seam.

I had some scrap pieces left from
past projects of the
Spring Stripe Glitter, Spring Flowers Glitter
Pink Glitter Chipboard
that worked perfectly
to create bunny & flower accents
for the plastic egg &
for the inside of the cone.

After using a punch to create a doily edged trim
to a strip of the striped glitter cardstock,
I glued it around the top of the cone, followed by gluing white shabby roses around the bottom
of the doily trim.

To finish the top edge, I added
additional Dew Drops to the top.

I glued a 3 portion of the dangle Venice lace
to the bottom of the cone, accented by
lilac shabby roses & variety of Dew Drops
in purple & white.

I filled the cone
with some purple shredded paper,
& added plastic egg embellished by flowers
from the Spring Flowers Glitter cardstock.

For the final touch, I glued a
thin lilac colored satin ribbon
to serve as a handle.

A very simple project,
creating a paper cone
that is sure to bring delight to
any youngster filled with
yummy Easter treats.
