Thinking of You Card

Hi everyone! It's me, Tonya! It has been awhile since I've posted a project for the Robin's Nest but I am here today to share a card I created.

Since Autumn is here I pulled out an assortment of cardstock that has a Fall like feel to it.

I started with a folded 6"x6" piece of Honeycomb Fluer Cardstock as my card base. The banners are cut from Brown on Brown Glitter and Brick Glitter cardstocks. The Brick Glitter banner I embossed with Tiles Embossing Folder and then I lightly inked with a Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink. I added a bead of adhesive to the top of each banner so I could add other elements under the banners later on.

I adhered at the top of the card a thin strip of Loves Me Cardstock on top of the embossed banner. Next I cut an On the Edge Distressed Doily from Honeycomb Distressed Cardstock and adhered it under the banners. From my own personal stash I added a tan colored doily in-between the banners.

I adhered a Doily from the Saffron Bike Diecuts Pack on top of the embossed banner. Next I cut flowers and leaves from the following cardstocks: Wrap Glitter CardstockVanilla Fluer Glitter CardstockOrange Crackle Glitter CardstockMoss Green Glitter Cardstock and the diecuts I used are as follows: Spring GreeneryHeart and Soul Flower and Spring Leaves along with some flower punches.

I shaped the leaves and flowers and adhered to the card along with twine and metallic thread. I added Dew Drops to the center of the flowers and I printed the sentiment from the computer, cut to fit and inked the edges before adding to the front of the card.
As always if you have any questions about this card please let me know.

Little Lady

Kadence is certainly a little Lady in this
adorable picture of her.

And some of these grand kids are just so easy to
take pictures with, and they all turn out so cute.

I love how she wrapped a necklace around her head to
create this look.  Turned out so cute!

I did alot of layering on this picture using quite a few papers to create this look.

Rose Euphoria, Pink Glitter Chipboard, Girl Swirl,
Pink Diagonal Stripe, rose euphoria cards,
Pink diagonal, Glitter Pink Butterflies, Pink Sorbet,
And and Old black foil paper from the past,
and, dew drops, girl flower sticker, and pink mesh.

Everything else comes from my scrapbook stash.

Such a fun layout,
with such a cute girl!

Hi dear crafty friends,
It's Angela here and I have a new scrapbook page to show you that I made using the super fun Halloween collection by The Robin's Nest.
I love Halloween, it's inspiring to me and it's great fun.
I saw this amazing paper with a haunted house and a big moon that gave me the idea to create the page I'm about to show. The paper is so beautiful that it was a pity to cut it, so I decided to create just a small strip - about 3 inches - of a contrasting paper to allocate my title and my photo.
I sticked together the two papers with two different washi tapes.

Ciao miei cari amici,

Then I cut a piece of vellum like a beam of light to put pointing towards the moon.
Ho poi tagliato un foglio di acetato a forma di fascio di luce da posizionare puntato verso la luna.

I adhere it to the papers with a few glue dots under the photo and a bat on it and voilà!

Per attaccarlo ho usato delle glue dots messe sotto la foto ed un pipistrello e voilà!

Isn't it fun?
I wrote the journaling with a white gel pen on a black tag and, as a finishing touch, a few Dew Drops black and orange.
Hope you like it and get prepared to Halloween!

Non è divertente?
Il journaling l'ho scritto con una penna gel bianca sopra ad una tag nera e, come tocco finale, alcune Dew Drops nere ed arancioni.
Spero vi piaccia e preparatevi, tra poco è Halloween1

Tracy here today and we've been working on Halloween projects this month. This is a photo of my two granddaughters trick or treating last year. One is dressed as a witch  and the youngest is dressed as Tinkerbell. I love this photo and have wanted to scrap it for a while. When I saw the Halloween papers from The Robin's Nest I knew they were perfect for this photo.

Other Products:
Prima Stencil
Washi Tape

To start I took some Gesso and mixed it with some green and orange gelatos and applied it to the grey cardstock using a Prima Crackle Stencil.

I layered the photo on some orange cardstock and the back side of both the Pumpkin Head Cardstock and the Camo Ghost Glitter Cardstock which I also distressed.  I also added one of the Spider Clippies to the corner of the photo.

I took the Spiderweb Glitter Cardstock and fussy cut out one of the webs and tucked it behind the photo.

I then fussy cut out one of the ghosts on the Camo Ghost Glitter Cardstock and placed that coming off the photo on the opposite side from the spiderweb.

I also fussy cut the Trick or Treat caption from the Glitter Word Titles, backed it with some orange cardstock and placed it at the bottom of the photo.

For the title I cut out one of the Boo's from the Boo Words Glitter Cardstock and popped it up and put three strips of washi tape behind it.

I wanted to add the date to the page. So just to balance the title, I layered several strips of the papers I matted the photo with and sewed them onto the bottom corner and tucked in a circle with the year written on it.

And of course I had to sprinkle some Spooky Dew Drops around the page just to add a little sparkle.

I love doing Halloween projects and really had fun putting this layout together.

Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Dresser

Colleen here with a little tabletop dresser I made for Halloween decor.

With some of the drawers open, to show that you could actually use this dresser to hide little items in.

I started with Pumpkin Heads cardstock and cut out 8 matchboxes.  You can find a pattern on the internet (here is one you could use, after cutting out the matchboxes you just put them together and glue one on top of another.  You could make this dresser wider or shorter, it is up to you.  I did ink around all the edges.  I used Silver Bells Dew Drops on the edges for trim.  The little dresser pulls are just links I had laying around and I used an old punch to punch out the backing for the links.  I punched them from white cardstock and inked them silver and then used a needle to punch the holes so the links would go in and look like they are attached.
Now it is time to decorate the top and this is just up to your imagination as how you want to decorate.  I used and old wooden spool and made the candle out of paper and used a little piece of the Orange Crush Ribbon and a black drew drop to finish it off.  An old bottle cap was used to serve as a tray or in my dresser it holds a clock, there is a punched out small spider.  The back of the dresser was  made using Halloween Sticker

Finally on the sides I used a die cut to cut out the cogs and embossed them with silver embossing powder.

This is something you can keep year to year or give it to a special person filled with little treasurers.

You can find some many wonderful papers and products in The Robin's Nest store, please take the time to check it out.

Birthday celebration at the Robin's Nest using Rosy Euphoria Collection

Hi it's Bev here today..... so how are you doing? I am sharing a baby page with my photo.. it's my 1st birthday. Wasn't I just too cute? I created this page for Robin's Nest  using the Rose Euphoria Collection.

Supply List:
Robin's Nest Products
Accents: rosy straw, dew drops, doily, Journal tag
Other: cricut title, stamping, flowers, lace, spellbinders die, Tim Holtz ink, white signo gel pen

In the close ups you can view some of the details and process to creating my page.
In the photo above using the diamond inspiration from the Robin's Nest paper I stenciled more diamonds using ink pads and the finger sponges. The stenciling was done above, below and outside the photo with papers.

In this section I added lace border, made a clustered floral and added some pink glitter straw accents.

In this section I added a doily with added dew drops.

Below the photo is a border of beads, below is a cricut cut title and a die cut spellbinder border with some more dew drops added. Also under the photo is a journal tag sized to fit.. in pink glitter.

This photo section showcases how the photo is still front and centre on the page to showcase it.

Thanks for stopping by today... hope to see you again soon.
