Hello crafty friends, Giorgia here.
Me and my husband love to travel and we love to snap pictures of us looking in the guide or in maps: it is a funny thing to photograph because it really gives the idea of travelling!
As usual The Robin's Nest had the best products for my LO!

Product used

Other: stickers, brads, chipboard frame

This is how I made my layout and some close up

When starting a layout, I always suggest you to pick up all the possible supplies you will need: decide the picture and then search coordinating papers, embellishments, stickers and so on and put them all together. It is a great way to let the creative juice flow!

The background is a white cardstock. I trim Men's plaid/Compass cardstock to 10 x 10", distressed it with scissors blade to create texture and adhered it on the background. This is just the perfect paper for travel pictures! I cut and distressed some strips of Men's plaid/Compass cardstock and Saffron Honey cardstock and I created layers this way:

I cut my picture to fit in a chipboard frame. I left the chipboard in its natural cardboard color because it was perfect with these patterned papers. I adhered the picture as shown:

I added another layer using the paper that comes with Baby Boy tags - never throw away your paper scraps, they can always be used! Remember to distress also this piece of paper, it adds so much texture!

I added the fabolous Leafy Green compass glitter chipboard and stickers to embellish the page:

I also added a brad and another sticker as title:

Final touch: my beloved dew drops! You know how much I LOVE them, they always add an extra touch to each project! They also come in diamond, butterfly, teardrops and heart shapes... take a look!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you liked my project.
Remember to take a look at the shop to see all the amazing Robin's Nest products.
