Here in Texas started to get a bit cold already, we are around 46 degrees.
The project that I bring this time is very useful for giving away some tea candles and it looks amazing as a little present.
To make this candle holder you will need:
One piece of cardstock of 9" x 12".
Yo will make score lines at the short side at 3/4" and 8 1/4"
Then we will make score lines at the long side at 1/2"; 1 1/4"; 2 3/4"; 3 1/2 and 8 1/2".
Now that we have the main scores and shape, we will proceed to make some notches in the left side of the box card. We will eliminate the first piece and then make notches between all the scored lines and proceed to eliminate the rest.
Now we can open a little window in the central panel of what will be our box. I took the following measurements: from left and right at the center panel 1/4" of each side and from top and bottom 1/2".
After this is done I added some acetate in the window so you can still see through. I also glue the box together.
Then is just about putting some finishing touches, I cutted the flip to make a pocket and have a tag inside, tgen decirated with Cindy lou dots and Cindy Lou Swirl Glitter cardstock used the Belgian Chocolate boy rub-on and add of course the tea candles.
I hope you enjoyed today's project and come back tomorrow for more inspirational ideas from our talented design group. You can also join our monthly challenge of a chance to win a nice price!
See you the next time!
