Jess here today.
With so many family gatherings right around the corner it is the perfect time to start making place cards for your holiday table.
Start by taking your and cutting it into the size of a number 8 tag. You can die cut or just use a plain tag as a pattern. You will see I punched a hole in my tag. For the final design I didn't end up needing the hold punched. Once you have you tag cut score it about a third of the way from the bottom. From that score line make another line about half way between your first line and the top of the tag. Make a final score approximately half way between the top and the score line you just made. These lines are not set in stone. Play around to see what works best for you.
Add a small strip of Coffee Creme Classic Glitter Cardstock just below the score line on the bottom of the tag.
Gather a few Fall Glitter Leaves Chipboard pieces and arrange them in a small cluster. Glue together with your favorite glue.
Paperclips and make a cluster of Sunkissed Tear Drops and Metallic Gold Dew Drops. Glue these on and set it aside.
Fold your tag up fitting the top score over the bottom to make a triangle shape. Use double stick tape to glue the top flap over the bottom flap. Glue on your leaf cluster. To make your name card use the Lodge Cutouts Cardstock. Cut out a ticket and stamp on the name using brown ink. Glue a small piece of burlap ribbon above your Coffee Creme Classic Glitter Cardstock. Clip the name in the paperclip and glue the clip to the leaf cluster. Complete the leaves with some Leafy Green Straw.
The extra fun part of this is that since it is a fairly large triangle shape you can tuck a little surprise inside the holder. Maybe some mints or candy for an extra treat. Just place the treats in a small plastic bag and attach it using double stick tape or rest them in there so your guest can take their place card holder home.
Thanks for popping by today!
