Wine Bottle Home Decor
Hello Robin's Nest Fans!
Today I am going to show you how to create these very fun wine bottles. I would say the they are not too difficult, but they do take time. You can choose whatever color you want to paint the bottles, I chose red because it matches my home decor.
To start, choose the embellishments that you want to use.
Let the wine bottles soak in a sink of hot water. This helps the glue residue come off easier.
Allow to dry.
Paint the bottles. I used craft paint, but most paints should work.
Allow to dry, about 10 minutes.
Add a rub-on from the Viva Rub-on's. Working with a curved bottle is a little more difficult to keep straight, so make sure that you don't move the rub-on.
Wrap the bottom of the bottle with string.
Add a dot of glue to hold in place.
Wrap the top too.
Add some Diamond Shaped Dew Drops.
Start by drawing a line of glue around the top of the bottle, then add the Dew Drops, flat side down.
Continue with a jeweled pattern.
Add Robin's Nest Straw around the bottle for a shimmery look.
The straw wraps so nicely.
Add a Rosy Card with a string at the top.
On the second bottle, I added our new flowers, easy to make three dimensional.
Wrap string around the bottle randomly.
The fussy cut around another Rosy Card for the watch, and glue in place.
Add Rosy Mini Die Cuts into the cluster at the bottom.
Finish with a Dew Drop in the center of the flower.
Let me know what you think in the comments below.
Until next time,
