I started by painting the ends of the tray in antique white paint. I did two coats of paint.
Next I used two sheets of the Blue Fluer cardstock and cut to fit the sides, inside bottom and top edges of the tray then I adhered all pieces with Mod Podge and let dry.
I cut a piece of Admiral Fluer Glitter Linen cardstock to fit underneath the tray. I adhered with Mod Podge. Once dry I went over all the tray with Mod Podge again to seal the paper.
I cut snowflakes from the Winter Snowflakes, Admiral Fluer Glitter Linen, Winter Snowflakes, White Snow Glitter cardstock, Silver Classic Glitter Swirl Vellum. Also from white cardstock I cut a Flourish diecut and the doily is from Gina's Designs. I adhered all pieces to opposite corners of the tray.
I finished off with sequins, Dew Drops and pearl sprays.
There you have it a very simple yet elegant project that you can create in a couple of hours.
Be sure to stop by the Robin's Nest and check out their line of Fluer Linen cardstock and while you are at it hop on over to Walnut Hollow and check their assortment of unpainted wood pieces.
