Faberge Easter Egg Cards

 Hi Everyone!
I know it's not until next month, but I could not wait to share with you these pretty cards I'm making for Easter!
I call them, "Faberge Easter Egg Cards"

To get started you'll need to cut out different sizes of eggs. I numbered them and keep them in a baggy for future use. Pre-cut your cards to the size you want with matching envelopes. Trace your egg with a pencil on the front of your card. Open the card and use a exacto knife to cut out the egg. Place a single piece of cardstock inside your card, trace the egg shape through the cut out.
Pull that single traced piece of cardstock out and put some glue onto the egg (as shown) with a colored glue stick. This will not wrinkle your paper and you can see where the glue is still tacky before it dries clear. Place some strips of pretty paper onto the glue, overlapping the egg traced shape.
I used Pink Glitter Crackle and Bunny Stripe.  Tear off any extra pieces. Save for tight spots. When you have covered the entire egg shape, go over the card (as shown) with the glue stick. Place this inside your card, careful to line up the front egg opening of the card with the egg/strips. Trim if needed before closing the card and smoothing out the glue and design..

Add some gold doily bits and Purple Dew Drops for the final effect!
I used Hillside Mini Dews on card at the top of this post.

Now for my cute bunny charm card.
Here's how-
After placing my strips to the inside card, I edged the cutout with a gold leafing pen.

Then I used an assortment of Epiphany tools to make some "Bunny" magic!
Shape Studio Round 14,   Shape Studio Round Bubble CapsMetal Charms Round.

Place your "bunny face" from Bunny Stripe inside the hole of the punch, this fit perfectly!
Place a bubble cap inside the hole, securing the face in place. Close the lid and punch down.
 How easy was that?
Place some really sticky glue in the center of the charm. Add your bunny face inside, pressing firmly and wiping away any stray glue with a wet wipe.
Next cut some teeny tiny bunny ears from your Pink Glitter Crackle scraps.
Glue these onto the back of the charm and add to your card!
Isn't he the cutest?

 So there you have it.
Beautiful Faberge Easter Eggs cards you can make to wow your friends and family!
If you are interested in using the same papers I did, you are in luck.
The Glitter Crackle Papers collection is on sale for 20% off  and Bunny Stripe is on sale 35% off  right now until the end of March!
Happy Card Making!
