Welcome to our Earth Day blog hop!!
This is going to be such a fun hop!
I thought, and thought, and thought about what I could do for Earth Day...
Here is the result!
A be-dew-zzled Earth!
I used a Styrofoam ball from "Make it fun" and some craft glue from Aleen's glue.
Free hand drawing the shapes of the continents with a pencil, theses abstract places came alive.
It only took about 4 hours total of gluing the dew drops on the ball, so not as big of a project as it looks.
The glitter chipboard is cut using Spellbinder's dies and glorified by the yellow flowers from our flower packets. These are super easy to use, and a great way to make any scrapbook project more than 2 dimensions. I added more dew drops and some mesh from our texture packets to give a "grassy" feel. I just had so much fun bringing all of these elements together. Lastly, I graced a Robin's Nest leather binder with these 3-dimensional "earthly" crafts!
I am going to use this book for my dried flowers. I like to pick them whenever a spontaneous day in the mountains happens. I date them, and, sometimes, find the names of them. The journaling of the trip with The Boy is actually what makes the book so fun!
I hope that you enjoyed this project and am hoping that you on to see the other projects! These lovely designers have awesome projects that I cannot wait for you to see!!
The grand prize for the whole project is one of these leather binders (the earth is not included, sorry). Each of the other blogs will be giving away their own prizes, so check them out!
1. The Robin's Nest (you are here)
2. Terri Sproul
3. Erika Taylor
5. Amanda Marks
6. Peg Rounds
7. Carol Lassak
8. Becky Conley
9. Irit Shalom
Have a fabulous day!
Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog and become a follower! This will put in the running for the prizes :)!

Beautiful, amazing Earth with the dew drops! Great job :)
Wow! This is so creative! I really love this idea.
This is lovely...so creative and clever. My sister would love this as she is really into be-dew-zzling retired bowling balls in the same fashion as this for garden ornaments.
Happy to be hopping and I became a new follower, too!
