Double Scrapbook Layout with Page Maps

By Amanda Marks

Welcome to my second Robin's Nest Design Team Post.  Today I will be sharing a double scrapbook layout - I did Page Maps for both 8 1/2" x 11" and 12" x 12".

2 Brown Pieces of Card Stock (Mine is The Paper Company Natural Pack)
1 Sheet of Orange Crackle from The Robin's Nest
Scrap White Card Stock
Craft Knife
Glue (Herma Glue Dots and Zig Memory System® 2 Way Glue)
Brown Ribbon
Dew Drops - I used Brown and Yellow
Favorite Font (I used Pablo - You can download it here)
Bic® Mark-Its™ (Sunset Orange and Woodsy Brown)
Zig Memory System® Millennium 05 Red Pen (For Journaling)
Antique Linen Tim Holtz® Distress Stain
Spiced Marmalade Tim Holtz® Distress Ink™
Walnut Stain Tim Holtz® Distress Ink™
Ridge Scissors

Page Maps - click on the photos to download PDF Page Map:

8 1/2" x 11" Page 1

12"x12" - Page 1

8 1/2"x11" - Page 2 Outside

8 1/2""x11" - Page 2 Inside

12" x 12" - Page 2

My pages (my daughter loves them!)

Notes about the pages:  The Journaling Sections are white card stock cut out with Ridge Scissors.  Antique Linen Stain applied to the full space, the Spice Marmalade was rubbed around the edges and very thin layer of Walnut Stain was also applied to the edges.

The Title was typed into Word and printed out, colored with Bic® Mark-its™ and cut out with an Exacto (Craft) Knife.

The ribbon was applied with the Zig 2 Way Glue (I got it from my grandma - no spool so I don't have a name brand I used).

I personally like to handwrite my journaling because it makes it a tad more personal.
