Mission Call

Just for those who know us and check here periodically. Dana and I have received our mission call. We will be going to Ethiopia to serve a Humanitarian Services Mission. We will be responsible for coordinating all the Humanitarian projects sponsored by the LDS Church in Ethiopia.
This will include working with the government to propose and approve drilling water wells for clean water in the country areas. We will distribute food, wheelchairs, and clothing where needed. We will coordinate classes for the people and teach them water purification skills, neonatal skills, and much much more.
We feel it a great honor to be able to serve our fellow man in this capacity. We will serve for 2 years in Ethiopia, and leave the 7th of december.

Fall Card

I think so far this is my favorite and easiest fall card....I used the back of "Pumpkin Swirl" for the base and I cut out around the leaves of "Autumn Leaf" and adhered with pop dots. I used a leaf from my stash and the stamp is another CTMH stamp...this is a 6X6 card.....

Fall Card

I like this fall card...I used "Glitter Leaf". Orange and Green Teardrops are from "Forrest Fun" and the red are from "Freedom"....Then I just tied some Jute around it and there you go...I thought it turned out real nice....the inside says "I am thankful for you"....

Spooky Card

With this card I cut out some spiderwebs from our "Black Glitter Spiderweb" and used Black Dewdrops for my spider and the Silver Droplets for his web and a CTMH stamp for "spooky" that was in my stash! Add the googly eyes and I think this is the perfect Halloween card to give out to kids....I just love how my little spider turned out!

Timeflies Mini Album

This mini album I did to commemorate Luke's (my baby) first day of was so hard for me to let go of my little Luke for school...but I did it! Everyday we went out and sat on this rock and waited for the bus...he always said it was his rock! I used the Clock paper and rub ons with the metallic teal dewdrops...and of course I used the Brown Glitter Swirl paper here and there and also the Ocean Watercolor matches PERFECT with this paper! Lucas loves looking through this book at his "mom" time....that is when you KNOW you did an awesome project...when they can't put it down!

Happy Crafting All!

Growth Chart

This is a growth chart I did for my cousin's little girl, Sophie....I thought it turned out adorable. Papers I used Spring Flowers Glitter Cardstock, Spring Glitter Stripe Cardstock, the back of Bunny Stripe Cardstock, and Ocean Watercolor Chipboard. I used Spring Stickers and dewdrops from the Chuckles mix, Large White Dewdrops, and the purple teardrops from the Rose Hips mixture....

just me

I promise I will be better now, I really have been working on things to publish, just haven't gotten them on the blog, but now my time is easier to come by now that rachel is running the company. Now I get to do the layouts and projects I have been wanting to do, but no time to do everything.

We love Robins Nest glitter cardstock and dew drops, and of course now the tear drops. Ideas will be posted each week , and if I can twice a week. Robin

Princess Aliyah

So here she is our little Aliyah, in her christmas dress. We used princess glitter cardstock, princess glitter die cuts and white letters, the princess glitter words and brown glitter viva la france glitter cardstock, pink and brown cardstock, and pink ribbon. Such an easy layout for a great look.

Atlantic ocean

The atlantic was awesome, even in the rain, it can be a dark place in the spring in the rain. I used aquamarine glitter paper, or water glitter cardstock the new tear drops and dew drops, teal cardstock ribbon, rick rack and a clear border.

Newport in the Rain

Here is dana walking down the steps in Newport, RI. We had a great stay there and
even though it rained most of the time it was a beautiful place to visit. I used Robins Nest glitter awning cardstock, with ribbon and dew drops, die cuts are cut from
Robins Nest cardstock and spellbinders dies.
