How to make a Fabulous Feminine Layout!

Hi Ladies,
If you love pink & grey with lots of polka dots, roses, and scalloped doillies then I know you will adore this layout. I had so much fun trying to figure out how I would fit all the embellishments I wanted on the page. I also got to try a new chipboard product from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts. The beautifully intricate frame clearly became the center of my layout and stole the show. By the way, I began by heat embossing the frame multiple times but I didn't like the color so I turned it over and began again with paint. That little frame took a lot of mediums & heat without weakening the structure. In my opinion, their chipboard is an A+ product.

Directions:
1. Trim the 12x12" Rosy Chevron Cardstock to 10.75" square.  Matte it with a scallop edge white cardstock.

2. Next, matte with 12x12" Black Herringbone Cardstock.

3. Paint the Chipboard Flourish Frame with silver acrylic paint.  Next, apply crackle primer.  After it dries, apply white crackle paint and set aside to dry & crackle.

(The first coat of silver paint peeks through the crackles.)

4. Attach the photo to the back of the frame and adhere it to the lower left corner.

5. Carefully cut three clocks from Clock Cardstock and matte them with a scallop edge.  Apply watermark ink onto the "enjoy" chipboard and heat set with black glitter embossing powder.  Then attach it to a Rosy Card embellishment and matte with Silver Glitter Cardstock.

6. Embellish the layout with Rosy Cards, a Pink Glitter Journal Block, and some Lodge Ticket Cutouts. Then, embellish a doillie with initials using Pink Glitter Letters. Next, cut out a 2" circle of Black Daisy Glitter Stripe. Use Silver Glitter Cardstock to make a scallop edge matte.  Cut it in half and layer the semi circles behind other embellishments.

7. Create a 3D flower using Rosy Flower Die Cuts. Slice into the center of a flower and remove a 1/2" circle. Then overlap two of the petals and reattach them so that it is now slightly cup shaped.  Attach the three layers using dimensional foam tape and finish off by adding an Archival Seed to the center.

8. Finally, embellish the layout with a scattering of small Archival Seeds.  Adhere a large Archival Seed at each corner.  Add Pink Punch Dew Drops to the Flourish Frame and embellish the clocks with Metallic Silver Dew Drops.

Great mix of patterns and layers - - I really like how you used the pink glitter journaling spot under your title -- really makes it pop!
