Fun, cute and quick bookmarks for Easter

Colleen here to show you how to make some cute, quick and easy bookmarks and just in time for Easter.

These are so easy and quick to make you are going to want to make many different kind of animals and share making them with your kids and grandkids.

For the pink bunny I used an 8x8 piece of cardstock while the brown bunny was made with a 6x6 piece of cardstock.

Take your piece of cardstock and fold it corner to corner and then open it and do the same thing to the other side.

Now take the tip of the paper and fold it down to the bottom.

Now take the side piece and fold it in and do this on both side.

Now unfold this and take each side piece and fold it toward the center.

Now you are going to fold each side on the line with the previous fold.  You are really tucking this under and behind the folded down piece you folded early on.

Now you have made the bunny all you have to do are all the details.  Cut a small piece of white cardstock for the teeth.  Make your bunny ears with 2 shades of paper and cut a little piece of pink paper for the nose, add some googly eyes all attached with The Best Glue Ever.

One thing I learned is the heavier the cardstock the harder it is to get crisp, clean folds.  It is also very helpful to use a bone folder to make good folds.  I inked all the edges as well.

Now you are ready to use your bookmarks.
