Hi it's Bev here today. I am sharing some projects that were done using amazing Robin's Nest Papers, some sketches, challenges and a fabulous cross promo with ScraPerfect products. They were just too beautiful not to share with you here. What a great way to celebrate February with lots of hearts, pink and flowers in the paper prints and the accents.
Chipboards: Creative Embellishments
Flair Buttons: Creative Embellishments
Stencil: Creative Embellishments
Ink: sew easy ink roller, Tim Holtz ranger,
Pen: Signo white gel
Other: paint, lace, flowers
Sketch: Sketches in Thyme
Challenge: Off the Rails
To start a page I lay things out without gluing anything down.
Take note 1st to the background ... I ripped the paper on both sides and matted with soft pink cardstock behind. This is the only thing I glued down to start this layout.
Up next I inked lots of the chipboards to coordinate with the paper colouring and the frames in white.
The frames were then glued using ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever and placed on top of the photos.
Parts of the background are stamped and 3 sections are clustered with the stamping, chipboard and flair button accents. A few flowers and some lace are added. As an after thought I used the sew easy ink roller and added some ink rolled on stitches throughout the page.
Be sure to read on when I share another heart filled page.
OMG isn't this too cute? With Valentines Day in February it was fun to play with lots of hearts in many forms. This is my youngest Grand Daughter who is now 13. She was obsessed with her "blankie" and still is! LOL. It was so tattered it was an embarrassment to have her carry it around. She will have memories forever with this page.
This page is created using papers from Robin's Nest and lots of heart accents... then throw in some inked stenciling and some splattered paint and it's done. It was glued together with ScraPerfect Best Ever Glue and the amazing non clog fine writing tip made it so much easier too. It also means using less glue which is perfect too. This is a cross promo project.

Starting with this 2 hearts border I painted it... let stand to dry.
Here are some detail shots using Best Glue Ever with non clog fine tip writing tip. I can't tell you how awesome this is... I have struggled before to glue anything that was thin, delicate and had fine lines.... Now it is so easy. You really need to buy some... tell them that I sent you. Be sure to buy the glue and the writing tip too.
Notice the fine thin glue lines..... you really don't need too much so the glue goes a very long way.
This close up view showcases the Robin's Nest Products.... the great layers of print paper, the fabulous doillies all which highlight and pop the cute photos.
When creating you have lots of options to use a little or a lot... to add background mixed media or not. Also when it's all laid out pulling accents from your stash ... you'll have so many choices. I used chipboard, metal, lace and flair buttons.
In some of the close ups you can view more of the details and accents.
