Snowflake Card Box

Hello Everyone.
Thank You for visiting
The Chattering Robin's.

Michelle here, sharing my latest project,
a "recycled" box,
redesigned to hold Christmas Cards
through the holiday season.

The Robin's Nest Supply List
Winter Snowflakes Cardstock
Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard
Blue Glitter Chipboard
Glacier Diamond Dew Drops (blue shade)
Precious Girl Diamond Dew Drops (clear blue shade)
Belgian Chocolate Mini Dew Drops (clear blue shade)
*Sponsored Products Used*
Scraperfect Best Glue Ever
Scraperfect Embellie Gellie

I began my project by first removing the unsightly, suede material from the boxes exterior.

I then measured & cut the Winter Snowflakes Cardstock, for each side of the box, and the top of the lid. I used a solid navy cardstock on the bottom of the box and the inside of the lid.

I used Scraperfect Best Glue Ever, to adhere all paper to the box.

Using the blue glitter chipboard, I pre-cut large snowflakes to add to the top of the lid, and to two sides of the box.
I used solid white cardstock to cut the same size as the blue glitter chipboard, for the remaining two sides.

For final touches to the exterior of the box, I added lace trim to the lid, and added Diamond Dew Drops in blue to the lace, and the clearer blue to the glittered chipboard snowflakes, and Dew Drop Mini's to the smaller Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard.

I finished the inside of the box with gingham print fabric, and white lace trim.

And although the box can be used to hold holiday cards, it would be just as pretty to leave out through the winter, for extra storage.

Hope you enjoy this project.
