Trick or Treat

Colleen here with some quick and easy holders for Halloween treats.  I decided to make my holders for packages of gum but you could do this with other candy bars, the sky is the limit.

You start with a strip of paper that is 7" long by 3 3/4" wide.  I used Dinosaur cardstock cut 7" long by 3 3/4" wide.  I scored the paper at 3" and 4" and then again 1/2" on each end.  The red creature was made using the backside of Red Rope Glitter paper while the green swirl monster was made using Kiwi Sobert Glittler cardstock.

I used the back side of Gold-Glitter Paisley Cardstock to make the hair on each of the monsters. On the red monster I ran it through an embossing folder to give the hair some texture.

I used a Martha Stewart punch to do the hair and cut that to fit around the top.  A punch that was 1" and 3/4" was used for the eyes and then just drew on the rest of the white with a white gel pen and a black marker for the features.  Very fast and easy to make andthe the kids think they are very special.  I hope you give them a try.

Please check out all the wonderful products at The Robin's Nest store.
