Hi Guys Terri here, thank you for joining me today, I have a new project to share.
I'm going to walk you through how I made this cute little gate plaque using Popsicle sticks and Robins Nest products.
I'm going to walk you through how I made this cute little gate plaque using Popsicle sticks and Robins Nest products.
- I started by laying 6 Popsicle sticks side by side so they look like planks
- Next I cut and glued 2 of the Popsicle sticks at the top and bottom of the planks to act as a brace
- I then cut and glued a diagonal support piece just like you would have on a wooden gate
- I then made 2 holes and threaded some garden twine so that my gate can be hung up
- I added 3 roses that I cut from the Valentine Stripe and Valentine Hearts card stock and some Sky Dew Drops using Dew Dew Glue
- I added some mini bunting which I also cut from the Valentines stripe and heart card stock, I threaded this on to beige embroidery thread using a needle and attached it to my gate using mini foam pads
- I die cut a little love sentiment form the Valentine stripe card stock and stuck it to my gate
Here's a closer look at the dimension and detail
I hope you enjoyed today post, please leave me a comment below, I'd love to know what you think of my garden gate.
