Home of the Brave ....

Fourth of July 2015 altered Magnetic Board.

For my first Design team project I decided to alter my (Embellish your Story) Rodea Magnetic Board. Nothing tells a story like elements that pop and with color. My inspiration for this project was my paternal grandfather.

Periwinkle flowers

Step by Step instructions:

Layer your 12 *12 pattern paper first. Then add the solid cardstock, it should measure 8 x 11 for your bottom layer , and then add your top layer with a pattern paper that measures 7.5 * 10.7/8. Add your layer piece on the right side of you 12 x 12 pattern paper.

Add your embellishments to your taste. I created a rosette flower and add the Robins Nest flowers onto the center of the rosette flower. You can add any embellishment your wish for the center of the rosette flower, mine was the glitter heart.

Create frames with your solid cardstock or with pattern paper (just make sure it doesn’t blend in). My frames measured 3 x 3 and 3.5 x 3.5 . Add and scattered the frames to your layout.

For the final touch add dew drops or sequins to your layout.

I hope you enjoy this simple and patriotic layout that I created for you. Please stop by the Robins Nest !
