Three Card Thursday!

Hey, everybody! Nice to see you again. It's Ro, here, with a Three Card Thursday! Ok, that's not a real thing, but I do have three cards, and it is Thursday!

This month, The Robin's Nest is featuring the Regency Collection (20% off all month!). The papers in this collection are very colorful.

For my first card, I selected the Baroque Specialty Paper. This birthday card turned out whimsical, yet elegant, with a hint of mystery.

I selected three sections from the paper and mounted them on black cardstock to make them really stand out.

New Lodge Collection

We have been working on a
new collection for
the Robin's Nest.

Today I am introducing you
to our new line of
papers and embellishments to match.

The Lodge Collection

This collection can be used in so many different ways!
Besides outdoor and lodge.

Here are a few.

Here I am in France, and this beautiful new Glitter Green paper was so
perfect for this page.
I also used some cut outs from the cut out sheet.

This is a family page using the new Compass Cardstock
and the new Daisy/Stripe Cardstock,
and some cut outs.

Here I have used the Compass Cardstock
to cover the "J". I also used
the Bel rub on from the boys line.

This is a mini book that I created using the new Lodge Cutout sheet,
the die cuts, the birch straw, and printed papers from this collection.
Daisy/Stripe CS, Trees CS, Glitter Leaves Linen CS.

This is certainly one of my favorite pages.
I have used the Lodge Collection,
the Black Forrest Collection,
The New Baby Collection.

Here is the Lodge Collection.

I have also created a Father's Day card
and a tag using the product line.

Other products used on these pages come from the
Black Forrest Collection
on our website.

Many big hugs to you,

Ciao,

Family Tree

Families Grow from Strong Roots

I'm always surprised by how strong my family ties are. Considering we're miles apart and rarely see one another, we always seem to pick right up where we left off. One of the strongest bonding moments we had as a young family was when we went on vacation. My father, mother and brother took many adventures. When I first saw the Regency Collection I knew that the papers and embellishments would lend themselves well to some of my older photos from that time.
Here's is but one layout that I've been working on from this collection.

Now I did attempt a video, showing you just how to put this layout together. In all honesty, it wasn't my best production. But I'm putting it out here just the same. Take what you want from it. However, the one thing that is for sure...the REGENCY COLLECTION is FANTASTIC! Full of charm and family sentiment. A must have for your scrapbooking collection. Especially suited for heritage albums.

Remember you can get 20% off of the Regency Kit for the entire month of February.

Amazing Regency Collection

Hi, Bev Code back here again this month at Robin's Nest where
we are boasting about the Regency collection
which is on sale 20% off the rest of the month...
and Cathedral Specialty paper.
Also this month is Heartfelt Creations cross promotion.

This and That

Hi everyone! It's me Tonya and I'm back this month to share what I created using the Regency Collections that is 20% off this month over at the Robin's Nest and  Heartfelt Creations which we are crossing promoting.
I kinda went crazy this month with projects. Instead of just one I have the box I altered into a ATC holder, eight ATC cards and one card using all these wonderful products.
If you are ready lets get started. :-)

For the ATC holder first I found a box that was 3 1/2"x5". Find the center of the box on the 3 1/2" side, mark and drew a line down to the other 3 1/2" side. Cut and then folded down on either side to make holder more sturdy.

Brothers "Reading" Together

I made these adorable pages of my two little guys looking at books together.  Weston and Kade are just 13 months apart and they love each other so much.  They are always playing together. Weston can usually be found loving on Kade.  I so love capturing pictures of them just like these ones below to make such great pages with!!
For these pages I used the Calamity Jane Stripe card-stock, and dew drops
These are such fun little shots of the boys!  I added random dew drops, punched hearts and stamp shaped chipboard from Gina's Designs to dress up the page a bit without taking away from the photos.
I just added a few words for journaling down the left hand side and the boys names across the top right.
Here is just a close up of the cute embellishments for these pages.
Thanks so much to stopping by today and checking out the blog.
Happy Crafting,
Tara O'Crowley

Just Because

Hi everyone, Steph here with a card using papers from the Robin's Nest  Regency Collection

This month we are also working with Heartfelt Creations.  I received the Post Card pre-cut set along with the Sweet Juliet Die.  I wanted to focus on the papers, so I chose to use just the dies on this card.

The background paper is Gold Glitter Paisley Cardstock.    The top layer uses the Baroque Specialty Paper  which was matted with black cardstock.

I die cut some of the Baroque Specialty Paper   using the Sweet Juliet Die  and assembled 2 layers with a brad, adding them to the top panel.  Some green foliage was  added around the flowers.  I also inked and embossed a chipboard arrow from Gina's Designs and stamped a sentiment on top.  The panel was then added to the card front with foam adhesives for dimension.

Thanks for stopping by today.  And don't forget to stop by the store to pick up these awesome goodies.

My Journal Cover - The Start of Something New.

At the start of this year I joined a free-art-journal-workshop on Face Book called Journal 52.
What I love about the group is that there is no hurry to complete the weekly prompts, you work at your own pace, upload your photos and continue to be inspired by amazing artists!

Keys to the Past Keepsake Book

This month's special, the Regency Collection, is full of rich colors and elegant papers and accessories. And since Keepsake Books are so popular, this line coordinated very well with that type of project. So here I am today (Ro from Toodle Noodle Creative!) to share my book with you.

Note:  For the entire month of February, the items in the Regency Collection are 20% off!!!

Rather than reinventing the wheel, I am not including the step by step directions on the making of this book. There are plenty of guides and videos out there. The one I used for my basic layout is located on YouTube at My Sister's Scrapper. There are several videos in the series and they are very easy to follow. Here's mine:

Valentine's Day in our Home

All my life
Valentines Day has always been special.

My mother always greeted us in the morning with
pink pancakes for breakfast.

She always made valentines cards for us,
and we of course would
make and sign our own valentines for school.

Our evening always started with
Pink Casserole.
I still can taste it in my mind as I
remember these foods.

I took these traditions with me when
I left home, married, and had a family.
  Our kids too ate
pink pancakes
for breakfast and
pink casserole for dinner.

Here are some of the things I do in my house
to decorate for
Valentines Day.

It is a special day in our home.

Here is our sign we
sit on the mantle of our fireplace.

I used Robin's Nest Products
which are glued on a long brown matboard.
Glitter Valentine Cardstock
Valentine Stripe Cardstock
Brown Glitter Classic Swirl Cardstock
Red Dew Drops

This is a side view of the Love Sign.

Wave Card in Plume

Wave Card in Plume

I've been thinking about spring and all that comes with it. Bright skies, fresh air and lots of colors.
My first project this month is based around the birds of spring. When I first laid eyes on the Regency Collection from The Robins Nest. I knew right away that I wanted to create something that had some color, spark and royalty all wrapped up into it.
I think you will agree, that this charming card will be a pleasure to look at until those warm days finally reach us. You can see how I created this card, here is a full tutorial.

Don't forget, for the month of February you can get the Regency products right here and receive 20% off those products.
Thanks for stopping Lee

Regency Collection - Layout Royal

Hello girls The Robin's Nest, Marilia Lopes here with you again!
I can think of many things when I look at this beautiful collection it is too bright and sophisticated, the way the girls like!

In this layout I used as the base paper Vanilla Fleur Glitter Cardstock and a wide strip of the same paper from which only the back side is very smooth stripes.
I ripped the paper Gold Classic Swirl Glitter Cardstock to give some movement to the page.

For the title I used Regency Sticker.

I cut two frames in Silhouette and used the stamp Heartfelt Open Leaf Precut Set with brown paint in some places of the page.

Some Prima Flowers and Red/Gold/Silver Metallic Dew Drops.

The butterfly and chipboard chandelier are from Gina's Designs

I hope you enjoy it, be inspired and come to the store to check the Regency collection with this 20% off this month.
