Holiday Tradition

There are lots of holiday traditions in our family and one of my very favorites is decorating with my nutcrackers. The little guy in this photo is from Germany. He has rabbit fur for his hair and beard and is so wonderfully painted. I purchased him from a German carver in the USA. Someday, I would love to visit Germany and go to their beautiful holiday markets.

For this page, I began with the Winter Retreat Swirl paper. I backed that (and the photo) with the Brown on Brown Glitter Cardstock. I added a strip of Red Classic Swirl Glitter Cardstock. I cut two doilies from the snowflake vellum and the Admiral Fleur Glitter Linen Cardstock. The doilies were layered under the photo and the red strip. Lastly, I added five of the Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard. The word "holidays" was from my stash.

These lovely papers and snowflakes can be purchased in the Robin's Nest online store.
