Hello again everyone, it's been a little while since my last post and I am excited to share these simple yet cute pages with you all.
About two years ago my husband Jeremiah and I decided to take our kids to what is called Territory Days here in Colorado. It takes place in Old Town Colorado and goes on over a weekend in May. We decided to surprise the kids and get our pictures taken, you know the fun old fashion, old west style ones!?!
The boys all had such a great time dressing up as cowboys, wearing the hats and holding the guns. They were all so cute and all the pictures we took turned out great. Well these pictures have been sitting in our house and I decided it was far past time to put them on some pages and get them in a scrapbook.
Here is the first page I wanted to keep things simple and not take away from the photo itself. I love how all the boys are focused on dad looking like the bad guy!! I used The Robin's Nest, Cowboy cardstock and just used the side with stripes.
And this how can you not just love that everyone is actually looking at the camera and happy! To accent these pages I stamped and embossed a few images from an old west stamp set I had. I used some mailbox letters for my words and really love how these pages came out.....plus I am overly fond of all these cute boys.
Here is a close up look at the heat embossed embellishments, I stamped them on cream cardstock, heat embossed with a copper powder, carefully cut them out, and sponged the edges with a brown ink to distress them before I put them on the pages.
And here are the two pages side by side.
Hope this post finds you all well, until next time
