Card Kits!!

Woweee!  Did you see this totally awesome Vintage Card Kit from The Robin's Nest??

Three note cards, three envies, several cut sheets of Robin's Nest Papers, small packet of multi-colored dew drops, die cut embellishments....whew...What a haul!  And...not pictured:  a sheet of Subway Sayings Thank you stickers!!  This kit is PERFECT for creating thank you cards to send out after all those gifts, meals, and holiday fun!

Just look what you can make out of all of these supplies with just a few extras here and there:

Using Spellbinders' Heartfelt Creations dies, I cut out 3 Daisy Patch flowers from one of the embossed note cards. I masked the edges and sponged them in blush ink. Then I edged them in black to match the  look of the Robin's Nest stickers.  I also decorated the envie with a black die cut and sponging. A bit of red dew drops from the Flame collection and ribbon finish off my card.

Want some fun with flowers and envelopes??

Try a crinkled envelope card!
First, lick your envie closed.
Cut off the top 1.5 inches.
Run the bottom portion through your crimper.
Decorate...embellish...
Oh, and, I cut down one of the other note cards to create the insert for my envelope card.

I added red on the first and 3rd flower.  But only used blush on the middle layer. This makes the flower stand out better!

Aren't these  Daisy Patch dies from Heartfelt Creations adorable!
Did you know that there is a coordinating stamp set that fit each die?

I love these envelope cards!
But...hmmm...what else can we do??

A gift card/note card ensemble!

Using the 3rd envelope...I created this fun, 2 pocket design.
One pocket for the note. The other pocket is perfect for a little funny  money
or a gift card.

I used one of the swirl die cuts for the center layer of my flower.

The dew drops make great accents for this project.
Goodness, maybe I'll give myself this gift...with a gift card to The Robin's Nest store

Still using these stickers.  There are so many ways to thank you.

My 4th and final card from this kit...a tag card.

I added some plain red card stock to my supplies to add a little contrast.
The 3rd note card acts as the base.
I cut three layers in a wave pattern, but only glued the edges.  Then, cut out tags and decorate as you desire.  Be sure to use Dew Drops!!
The tags can fit into each of the layers.  You might want to add a quote,
a note of thanks, or a special thought.

As you see, with just a few extras, I have made 4 fabulous thank you cards. And...I still have a bit more paper and embellishments left to use on my next Card Kit from The Robin's Nest.

 Thank you for stopping by.
