A Grandpa's Love

I decided I wanted to do a layout featuring my grandfather who passed away last year.  Grandpa was loved, to say the very least and admired by his children, his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren, who are truly comforted in knowing that he is keeping Grandma company for us now.

Sooooo, I just wanted a simple layout to remember the joy of a Grandpa who would take us fishing, let us drive his car (um . . . when we were like 11), pile all of the grand kids in his little pinto and head for the zoo, sing at the top if his lungs not worried about who was listening, and most of all who stood as an example of character.

The Robin's Nest Wedding Tag Kit

The paper is so pretty (and glittery!) that you don't have to do much to embellish. I merely added a few flowers and leaves and a tag with a tag sticker from the Wedding Tag Kit.  I inked the edges of both the sticker and the tag just to give it a little more depth and I really like the result.  So far I have used the Tag Kit on two separate projects and I still have a ton of pieces left.  It really is a fun set and goes a long way.

Here are some closer up photos.  I'm not sure if you can see how thick the gold tag is, but it really is a good thick quality without being so bulky that it will weigh down your layout:
