Yacht in Newport harbor

I love the ocean, and wouldn't it be nice to sail the ocean in this? Well, a picture will suffice for me. I used Robin's Nest glitter star paper, old Robin's Nest Nautical stickers, red red dew drops to line the picture, and a few small tags. What a great look for a simple layout. 8x8

Marble House

This is one of my favorite pictures that I took in Newport, RI. I used the rainforest fleur linen cardstock, gold glitter letters, brick cardstock and spellbinders dies to create the swirls. All cardstock and stickers are Robin's Nest.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

I have had many, many requests for pictures of these ornaments. They are pretty simple to make. We took foam balls, spray painted them with foam safe copper paint, then glued the dew drops and tears drops on with zip glue. They dry within 2 to three minutes and take about 10 minutes each to make.

Have fun with them.

Newport Mansions

I used sour apple hammered paper an old product of Robin's Nest for the background, Rachel has some of these packets in 50's in the warehouse still. My inspiration for the layout was from a magazine layout that was so cool. I used Fiesta lettering from quickuts, brown glitter swirl, and french vanilla fleur, and white cardstock. This is a very cost effective layout. I also used the rectangle die from spellbinders to create even and exact rectangles.

8x8 layout

I used the Gracious Getaway line with this layout as well. Black Dew drops, original, I love to create different shapes with the dew drops to create this fun focal point. These pages are only 8x8 in size.

Just Me

I have used the Gracious Getaway line to create these pages. There is very little left in the warehouse, but i still wanted to share these, I used this line also with alot of my pages from Canada, as the green goes so well with the beautiful scenery there.

6x9 Cowboy Mini book

I created this book with the Robins Nest chipboard book packets. This was used with the walnut/brown chipboard book packet, I actually used 1 packet and traced the pages to create a larger book with more pages. The cover of the book has die cut stars, and swirls, dew drops and denim ( real), and a robins nest cowboy sticker. The Inside pages all are papers from the kit, silver dew drops are used through out the whole book like a cowboy would have on his gear. It is so cute. Dana journaled the pages on a regular paper from the store and I decided to leave it in his handwriting so that it really was authentic. This book turned out so cute, and all the papers are already picked for you, and match!

Deer

This is such a fun layout for the fall. Great for hunting pictures. We used the glitter getaway linen cardstock, glitter brown swirl, tangerine Fleur, nature lover sticker, all Robin's Nest products that you can find on our website www.robinsnest-scrap.com

1st Grade with Gabe

Mission Call

Just for those who know us and check here periodically. Dana and I have received our mission call. We will be going to Ethiopia to serve a Humanitarian Services Mission. We will be responsible for coordinating all the Humanitarian projects sponsored by the LDS Church in Ethiopia.
This will include working with the government to propose and approve drilling water wells for clean water in the country areas. We will distribute food, wheelchairs, and clothing where needed. We will coordinate classes for the people and teach them water purification skills, neonatal skills, and much much more.
We feel it a great honor to be able to serve our fellow man in this capacity. We will serve for 2 years in Ethiopia, and leave the 7th of december.

Fall Card

I think so far this is my favorite and easiest fall card....I used the back of "Pumpkin Swirl" for the base and I cut out around the leaves of "Autumn Leaf" and adhered with pop dots. I used a leaf from my stash and the stamp is another CTMH stamp...this is a 6X6 card.....

Fall Card

I like this fall card...I used "Glitter Leaf". Orange and Green Teardrops are from "Forrest Fun" and the red are from "Freedom"....Then I just tied some Jute around it and there you go...I thought it turned out real nice....the inside says "I am thankful for you"....

Spooky Card

With this card I cut out some spiderwebs from our "Black Glitter Spiderweb" and used Black Dewdrops for my spider and the Silver Droplets for his web and a CTMH stamp for "spooky" that was in my stash! Add the googly eyes and I think this is the perfect Halloween card to give out to kids....I just love how my little spider turned out!

Timeflies Mini Album

This mini album I did to commemorate Luke's (my baby) first day of Kindergarten....it was so hard for me to let go of my little Luke for school...but I did it! Everyday we went out and sat on this rock and waited for the bus...he always said it was his rock! I used the Clock paper and rub ons with the metallic teal dewdrops...and of course I used the Brown Glitter Swirl paper here and there and also the Ocean Watercolor Chipboard...it matches PERFECT with this paper! Lucas loves looking through this book at his "mom" time....that is when you KNOW you did an awesome project...when they can't put it down!

Happy Crafting All!

We love Robins Nest glitter cardstock and dew drops, and of course now the tear drops. Ideas will be posted each week , and if I can twice a week. Robin
